Recent study says that nearly 7 million children in India do not have access to quality education and approximately 50% of all children drop out before they complete their elementary education and this is mainly due to financial crisis.
As a first step NANBAN aims to create quality, inclusive, learner-friendly environments for school students, for those economically challenged, in Tamil Nadu, to ensure their persistence of education regardless of their gender, class, caste, ethnicity and religion.
NANBAN is a worldwide action group formed to catalyze socio-economic change in India through education of underprivileged children. NANBAN aims to bring hopes into the lives of these children. NANBAN was established by a group of friends and volunteers, working in various multinational organizations, who are keen in helping their motherland.
